There are a number of books concerning the date 2012. Several of the authors claim there information is derived from the Mayan's prediction. I seen a great deal about the advance civilization of the Mayas and find it extremely gratifying. Not to long ago there was a group in Laguna Niguel, Califoria who believed the world was coming to and end and for many of them it did. There was another group in the Philippines who believed the world was coming to and end. They awoke the following morning to find to there dismay the world was stil here. However, their possession had been sold the previousday. The there was the great scare of the 2000 bug. Remember, people bought extra food only to discover it changed without a whimper. Now does this incidicate it could not happen ceatainly not. There was an ancient Egypt, gone. Sumeria gone, Babylon gone and many more all gone. The term end could be only half truth. Let't try this the world as you know it. Say for instance, the population decline of both Caucasion and African American could render both groups extinct. That particular statement is based on a zero population growth scale. The zero scale works sometning like this one death no births.
